Our New MaD Man – Falk Pulsmeyer

Falk joined the MAD Team in October 2020. He studied Mathematics at the RWTH Aachen University. During his ERASMUS exchange in Birmingham, UK, he discovered his interest in Machine Learning and Neural Networks. This inspired his master thesis “Training of ReLU-Networks with Gradient Descent”. Before he started at the MaD lab as a Ph.D. candidate he worked at the Chair for Mathematics of Information Processing on implementing software and algorithms support the research on Machine Learning Models.
