Welcoming guests and serving information to frequent visitors is the core challenge of the project “Smart Agent”. A virtual receptionist is developed for companies with high customer traffic in several industrial and public sectors. Collecting data through several tracking methods adapts the behavior of the receptionist to different target groups or even individual people. The customers labor costs are reduced by replacing traditional receptions with the “Smart Agent” and the entrance service for visitors improves by introducing a smart entrance. Intuitively handling and a customized user interface leads to desired information and a comfortable feeling while entering a building equipped with the “Smart Agent”.
