Our New MaD Woman – Katharina Jäger

Katharina joined the MAD Team in September 2020. She studied Medical Engineering at FAU with focus on pattern recognition and machine learning. For her master’s thesis, she spent 6 months in Belgium collaborating with the maternal and fetal health company Bloomlife. Her main interest was to analyze and interpret uterine activity from electrophysiological sensor data. In continuation of this research, Katharina will be working on the SMART Start project, aiming to simplify and improve prenatal care.
