Working in Automotive for Audi AG in the areas of Software Engineering and Data Science, Lars decided to come back to research with a focus on cognitive systems and mathematical modeling and simulation in his Master studies. After his master thesis at the THI Ingolstadt and 2 years at Schaeffler AG, he decided to continue his research in game theory and machine learning at the Friedrich Alexander University (FAU) to dive deeper into the area of reinforcement learning.

In his function as a researcher, his project scope lies in utilizing the latest developments in the machine learning field to discover new applications of reinforcement learning in game theory.
