We are pleased to announce that our latest paper “Security Engineering of Patient-Centered Health Care Information Systems in Peer-to-Peer Environments: Systematic Review” is now published by a leading journal for digital medicine and health care in the internet age, the Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR). To date, our paper is first to systematically identify the inherent security issues for the emerging patient-centered health care information systems deployment in P2P networks and how they can be overcome.

This work is a result of great collaboration between Machine Learning and Data Analytics Lab (MaD), Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, KASTEL Security Research Labs, and REFINIO GmbH.

Congratulations to all authors: Imrana Abdullahi Yari, Tobias Dehling, Felix Kluge, Juergen Geck, Ali Sunyaev, Bjoern Eskofier
