After a whirlwind of experiences, including earning a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and dual master’s degrees in Computational Science and Engineering, Jitin is embarking on a new chapter as a researcher at the MaD Lab, where he will be working towards his PhD. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience at Rolls-Royce Jet Engines in India and held a variety of roles in the fields of Machine Learning and Data Science in Germany. His pursuit of dual master’s degrees took him to FAU, Erlangen, and USI, Lugano, where he was fortunate to receive support from the MaRS scholarship and ERASMUS program.

Jitin’s current focus is on the exploration of artificial intelligence technologies in wound care and the tracking of recovery processes for chronic wounds. He is engaged in a collaborative project involving the MaD Lab, Universitätsklinikum Regensburg, and PreSens GmbH.
