Smart City Greens – Our Innovation lab in the local news

On January 30, students participating in the Innovation Lab for Wearable and Ubiquitous Computing presented their project to the Mayor of Erlangen and a news team of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation. The students developed a smart sensor that can be placed near a tree and detects automatically if the tree needs to be watered. The goal of the project is to create a green city, where a healthy environment increases the life quality of our and future generations.
